Today I’m part of Skirting the Issue over on Project Run and Play. Liz and Elisabeth from Simple Simon & Co organize this annual event in July. They are collecting skirts (and quilts and pillowcases) sewn by whoever wants to join to donate to foster children. It’s a super awesome project and they have asked bloggers from all over the world to share tutorials to inspire people who want to donate skirts. For my tutorial I decided to do a skirt with a huge rainbow applique. I’m a huge fan of unique and fun clothes and love doing applique. Often I just go with a fun patterned fabric, but sometimes an applique is just the best. Ok, shall we start?
