Wild and Free – that’s how I want our summers to be. Every day outside, enjoying nature and the sunshine, living a free and happy life. Inspired by this thought I have sewn a whole collection of beautiful summer clothes for my daugther and her friends. I’ve translated the respective patterns to german and will start to sell them today. However, I’m so in love with the clothes and the pictures that we took at a lake close to the Alps that I just had to show this to you guys, too. Come have a look. You won’t be disappointed!
Wild and Free Lookbook
The patterns that I’ve sewn were some of the favorite girl patterns in the english sewing sphere during the last years: Blue Ridge Dress and Top, Soleil Dress, Miss Polly Dress, Antalya Dress, Wanderer Tunic and Bubble Pocket Shorts. I’m in love with every single one of them and so happy that I got the chance to sew them all.
To present the collection I’ve gone a slightly different way this time. Inspired by my friend Olu from Needle and Ted and her presentation of the Groove Dress, I had a little fun with Adobe Spark, too and created a lookbook that I just can’t stop scrolling through. The girls did a fantastic job in modelling the clothes and the scenery with the beautiful lake and the Alps in the back is just too good to be true. Seriously, you NEED to check this out! Just click on the pic and off you go. (Come back afterwards and tell me in the comments what you think about it!)
Last, but certainly not least I want to thank Art Gallery Fabrics. They provided the fabrics for this collection and I couldn’t be more thankful. Without their help it would have been impossible to achieve such a coordinated look that is still full of life. The Lavish Collection by Katarina Roccella was absolutely perfect for what I had in mind and the pics turned out just as I was hoping they would. They will be such a nice memory for the girls once they grow older. Plus, my daughter and her friends LOVE their new clothes. Thank you so much AGF!
Wow, I love the look book. I’m so jealous of th beautiful scenery in your part of the world.
