One of my goals for this year is to get creative in many different ways. I love sewing, but there are different ways to be creative and I want to try them out, too. One of the things that I want to try is to start sketching. I’ve never felt like I’m the most talented artist, but well 5 years ago I wouldn’t have thought that I’d one day love to spend my evenings (and nights) sewing. So, who knows maybe I’ll enjoy drawing, too?
For this reason I’ve bought a new notebook and some nice pencils and pens of different thickness. These of course asked for a new pencil case. I decided to whip one up using my tutorial from last tuesday. The one from the tutorial was a gift, but I then also wanted one for myself. I made mine a little smaller and used some scraps that I had lying around (leftovers from the fabric that I send Sophie for her market tote – find the tutorial here). A pencil case is pretty much the easiest project ever.
Please don’t laugh about my drawings. Everyone started small at some point :D
