Some fabric designs just are SO good. When I saw the fun surfing boards by Lila-Lotta I fell in love right away. I paired these with some stripes and solid fabrics and added some of the appliques that are part of the surfing fabric. We took these pics already at the beginning of the year, when it was way too cold for outside pics. However, the kids were in a very good mood and brought summer and sunshine inside. Wanna have a look?
My son wears a fun Twisted Tank and some Kid Shorts. I’m a big fan of both of these patterns and think they are a pretty perfect match. They both have this summer-y beach feeling. They are pretty easy and laid back, yet some cool details make them special and unique. Definitely my kind of patterns!
My daugther wears a tee and a skirt that I made using the Lina and Antje patterns. These are patterns by the well-known german designers kibadoo and Fritzi/Schnittreif and I have the english translation of these patterns in my shop. Lina is a very unique retro-inspired shirt with a “bib” inset at the front that allows for some fun with print and fabric mixing. Perfect for everyone who loves some color-blocking. The pattern includes several variations, but I went with the simplest version which is great also for a little bit older girls.
Antje is a very simple and fast jersey skirt with box pleats. I love the look of these pleats in stripes and how comfy yet chic the skirt is. Really a great partner for all kinds of shirts and blouses.
Well, wanna join the party? My kids sure love these clothes and have already worn them a lot this summer!
