Snowy pics? Really? While I sit here and write, it’s perfectly green outside and actually quite warm inside. I even opened the door to let some fresh air in. A warm sweater and snow pics is just THE post for today, right? Well, I was going to publish this post last week, but life got in the way in a very sad manner and I just couldn’t be at the computer. Well, never mind. The Toaster #1 pattern, as well as this gorgeous fabric will also work perfectly on colder spring days, not just in winter. So enjoy the snow pics while looking forward to spring (or while roasting in Australia and being happy that there is no snow evera. Yes, I’m talking to you, Jenya).
I sewed my Toaster #1 in this gorgeous Federkleid in marine/taupe . It’s part of the new Stoffbüro fabric collection (Design by Petra from pedilu). I could choose some of the new fabrics and couldn’t pass on the blue one for myself (I chose two other fabrics for my kids, which I’ll show next week). I just love blue, that’s no secret. Almost all clothes in my closet are somehow blue and so everything goes perfectly together. Having a clear fave color works fine for me.
I just love this sweater. I sewed it the beginning of the year and have worn it a lot since then. The fabric is a Doubleface-Jacquard, and organic as all fabrics by Albstoffe. Albstoffe manufactures directly in Germany and the quality of the fabrics is so good. This doubleface jacquard is super soft and feels amazing. It could be more comfy and nice. And the Toaster #1 is the perfect partner for the fabric. The relaxed fit and the comfiness of the fabric make this a real winning piece for me.
